Robber's Cave Getaway

This will be a three day (two nights) ride into central Oklahoma. 

We will leave on a Friday and ride up to Robber's Cave State Park.  We will get there early in time for some exploring and sight seeing, maybe even some hiking.  Or you can just relax at your cabin (yes, cabin).  We will be staying in one and two bedroom cabins There is a limited number of cabins, so please make your reservation early.  We will have pizza at the cabins Friday night.

Robbers Cave State Park

Saturday we will do a ride around the area on some very scenic and curvy roads.  All in all, about 300 miles. We will return to the cabins and have a BBQ diner at the cabins. Deb and I will be bringing all the food and supplies.  After diner there will be at least one campfire.  It's BYOS (Bring your own smores).

Sunday we will head south through Clayton, Antlers, and Hugo and stop for lunch in Paris.

Please be there and ready to go by 9:00 and ready for the riders meeting at 9:15. Kickstands up promptly at 9:30.

11:30                    Lunch at Bledsoe’s Diner

2:00                      Gas in Wilburton (80/175 miles)

2:30                      Arrive Robber’s Cave Cabins

3:30                      Walk/Hike at Robber’s Cave rock formations

6:00                      Dinner at the cabins (Pizza from Pizza Hut)

7:00                      Campfire/cigars/etc

 

SATURDAY 5/21

7:30                      Breakfast IN TOWN at The Donut place or McDonalds. We will have COFFEE available at our cabin in the morning,

9:00                      Depart

9:30                      Lake Euphalla Dam stop (15 min)

11:00                    Gas in Talienna (92 miles)

12:00                    Lunch at the Lumberjack Café

1:30                      Heavner Runstone State Park stop (15 min)

3:30                      Clayton State Park stop (20 min)

4:15                      Gas in Wilburton (165/255 miles)

4:30                      Arrive Robber’s Cave Cabins

6:00                      BBQ Dinner at the cabins

7:00                      Campfire/cigars/etc
